The 520 to 570 Kilometre long route from Budapest to Belgrad takes you through impressive landscapes, quiet rural villages and beautiful historic towns and cities, with traces of the region's turbulent history at every turn. You pass through three countries on your way along Europe's second longest river. Highlights include Budapest, with its museums and historic castle district, Novi Sad and the Petrovaradin fortress and the end goal of the tour, Belgrade, where numerous museums, an impressive historic centre and the famous Kalemegdan park with the Belgrade Fortress await you.
