Approaches to Anglophone Literatures and Cultures

This book offers a hands-on introduction to, and critical engagement with, concepts current in the transcultural field of Anglophone Studies. The book also offers readings of a selection of key texts that tackle transcultural experiences against monodimensional narratives of nation or culture; silenced or complicated memories against established archives and canons; forms of articulating histories of violence and interrogating dominant cultural narratives. This book highlights the potential of literature and art in schooling our critical faculties and our approaches to a complex world.
