Trilingual edition (English/German/Spanish) / Dreisprachige Ausgabe (deutsch/englisch/spanisch) From Berlin to Buenos Aires and Vienna to Asunción, Jasper Architects designs buildings on two continents. Working across time zones, their work brings together diverse contexts, languages, and building traditions. Founder Martin Jasper made his name in Europe with a sculptural redesign that turned a former department store, near East Berlins former central train station Ostbahnhof, into a multi-purpose office landscape. In South America, his work includes the ENAÍ holiday resort in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest, as well as the high-rise residential building 12 PARC and the Nestlé headquarters in Ecuador. The award-winning architecture offices designs are characterized by an engagement with new living and working paradigms and the tension between local and universal architectural language. This trilingual monograph presents the firms transatlantic work to an international audience for the first time, showcasing both built and unbuilt designsfrom slender high-rises to typological studies and constructions in tropical wood. With contributions by Hernán Bisman, Jeanette Kunsmann, and Fredy Massad

Martin Jasper is an architect, artist, ambassador of sustainability, visionary, and cosmopolitan. Raised in Ecuador, Germany, Peru, and Chile, he founded the firm Jasper Architects shortly after completing his studies at the Berlin University of the Arts, the Politécnico di Milano, the Escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, and the Accademia di Belli Arti di Brera Milano. Christiane Fath works as a curator, and has edited various architectural publications. She studied architecture in Milan, Berlin, Aleppo, and Weimar, and cultural management in Berlin. Until 2019, she headed the corporate publishing department of the professional journal Bauwelt. She is a founder of the gallery framework in Berlin/Vienna, and has served as the chair of the international nonprofit organization Diversity in Architecture since 2020; she is also an associate member of the BDA.
