Altern in ländlichen Räumen

Home and social space are central to social work with older and elderly people. Unlike younger people, older people are seldom reliably accessible for social work services via institutions such as schools or workplaces after the employment phase. This anthology offers an interdisciplinary insight into social space-related research on ageing issues and provides basic knowledge about the living conditions and situations of older people. The authors provide impulses for further developments of social work for the elderly and of care structures with a special focus on old age and ageing in rural areas.
